We visited one of the two parts of this art exhibition in Aix en Provence yesterday.
Celebrating Marseille-Provence being the capital European city of Culture in 2013 the exposition celebrates and displays an array of paintings from many of Provences most influential artists including Matisse, Picasso, Cezanne , Van Gogh and Bonnard to name but a few.
The exhibition is divided between Aix en Provence, a day out in itself , with its fabulous shopping and restaurant choices and Marseilles, again another vibrant city well worth visiting. We shall be going to the Marseilles part of the exhibition in a fortnights time.
Running until 13 October its a must see if you are in Provence.
