Eating out is as you know not only one of our favourite past times, purely so we can advise our clients of what's available! There are dozens of restaurants charging 20 to 35€ per head, some good, some a little averidge! There are also many charging 40 to 45€ per head , most of which are pretty good but we think for a little extra (52€) Coquillade is hard to beat.
This is the fourth time we have eaten in the Gourmet restaurant and each time is gets better!
After the fresh amuse bouche you are served three small starters, each using local seasonal produce and beautifully presented.
A choice of fish or meat follows ( you can take both for a higher price) and after a reasonable pause you are served three amazing desserts ( or take the cheese trolley).
Coffee with petit fours follows. This menu exc coffee is 52€ which compared to many other 'higher end' restaurants in the area is excellent value - the equivalent of just over £40 - incredible for Michelin starred quality food and setting.The wine list starts at around 30€ , drink the domaine wines 'Aureto' which are excellent and well priced. If you are celebrating or just want to treat your self do go and enjoy.
