On route we met some of the locals!I think it had been a while since someone past by!
Karen was rather keen to take this alpaca home to keep the grass under control!
And four of the reputed 40 million sheep on the loose in New Zealand. I have to say the lamb is the best I have eaten.
The views on route were spectacular. We had come from the foot path you can just see by the water.

And we made it, now to take in the views............
Despite the cloud it was warm, early 20's.And well worth the climb.
